First Visit

Your first visit isn’t just about us getting to know you, but an opportunity for you to learn more about our practice!

We encourage our new patients to ask any questions they may have about their practice during their visit.

Our team will start your appointment by asking you some questions about your medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can impact your treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking and their dosages. Dr. Ramnik Singh will then perform a comprehensive oral exam. This may include x-rays and a non-invasive oral cancer screening.

If no signs of periodontal disease (gum disease) are present, one of our hygienists will continue with a routine cleaning. If we do notice signs of periodontal disease, we may ask you to reschedule the cleaning portion of your appointment to allow more time for a thorough cleaning.

Once your exam is finished, Dr. Ramnik Singh will discuss her findings with you. Together, you will create a treatment plan that best fits your desires, while also giving you a healthy smile.
